Happy Belated New Year! I guess you can tell I am horrible at blogging:)
Everytime I blog I feel I have learned a little more about life than the last time and yet have so much room to grow. Family is doing great. My oldest is 8 now and in 3rd grade. She is now bringing homework home that has made me sadly say, 'I am not smarter than a 3rd grader" My middle daughter just turned 6 and is in Kindergarten and is very proud of her first loose tooth! My youngest is 2 and he amazes me everyday with the new things he says and does. I am super blessed to be a stay home mom and get to do what I love on my familys time. I have also recently signed up to be a substitute for Parents Day Out at First Baptist Muskogee. I love it and have subbed three times so far. The staff is wonderful and it is an awesome christian enviroment. My son gets to go with me when I sub and he loves it!
The past month has really made me realize how the only things in life that matter are the ones with "kingdom purposes". If it doesn't matter for when I go to heaven then I try not to stress over it. I'm trying hard every day to make sure I count my blessings and realize that time here is brief and this is not our home. Totally not to plug pictures in here but it also has made me realize how important it is to capture those memories as often as you can. Recently a baby that I had photographed when she was almost 1 month old went into the hospital about a month later and then very sadly passed a few months after that. Those pictures captured her in one of her most precious ages. Live every day like it may be the last picture you take and cherish it because when someone is gone, pictures are what is left for the family to remember. So before you say your going to take that family picture once you lose a few pounds, or once its pretty outside we are going to do some pictures, remember that you should capture things while you can. Even if that means just taking a snapshot with your camera. You always feel like you have a ton of pictures until that day when it feels like you can't have enough pictures to remember someone by.
As a facebook friend says everyday
"Be blessed and be a blessing!"
